The Fair Isle Primary School Brass Ensemble entertaining the residents at Methven House.

Youngsters from three local Primary Schools have been entertaining residents at Methven House Care Home in Kirkcaldy in the run-up to Christmas. Choirs from Dunnikier and North Primary Schools have visited Methven House in Bennochy Road and a musical interlude was provided by the pupils who make up the Brass Ensemble at the town's Fair Isle Primary. "Seeing all these wonderful children perform has made us all feel young again ourselves," said 90 year-old resident Anne Anderson with a smile, "and we are so very grateful to them all, and to the staff and the schools, for taking the time out to entertain us in such a magnificent, traditional way."
