Paula and her friends join the Race for Life

Paula Paterson, Activities Co-ordinator at Methven House and some of her friends are taking part in the Race for Life event which takes place in the Beveridge Park, Kirkcaldy on 20th June 2010. Calling themselves the Laugtoun Ladies, the girls have all been friends since school and this is the third year in a row that they have been fundraising together. This charity is very close to all their hearts, particularly since one of their group was diagnosed herself with terminal cancer.
They have also organised a fund raising buffet dance with local band Velour Amour on 1st May at Templehall Community Centre in Kirkcaldy. There are still some tickets available. Please contact Paula at Methven House for more details. The girls are hoping to equal the massive £8000 they achieved last year for Cancer Research UK.
